Back in 2013, Dr. Jay Connor from Mt. Auburn hospital presented a project – develop an easier to administer and more reliable emergency arterial torniquet. Today the prototype, developed by Zaid Zayyad, Anton Hunt, Tyler Hamer and Nickolas Demas, is available as the RapidStop Tourniquet from Aero Healthcare, and proudly made in New York. And, this year, several torniquets were donated to Ukraine.
